DPI\u2019s 2025-2026 strategic roadmap aims at empowering the national ecosystems in the membership of the Organization of Turkic States (OTS) dealing with sustainable agriculture and rural development to effectively enhance their efforts in fighting drought.<\/p>

Building on the first results of operation since July 2024, the period HEPA Hungarian Export Promotion Agency is hosting DPI, as commissioned by the Representation Office of the OTS in Hungary, DPI\u2019s strategy focuses on fostering effective collaboration, strengthening engagements with international institutions and initiatives relevant to drought prevention, and improving operational frameworks to support capacities in addressing economic, social, and environmental aspects of drought.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t

DPI is determined to offer a unique acceleration opportunity to ensure capacities to develop and launch catalytic and transformational projects that aim to attract additional financing for the purpose of sustainability in agriculture and rural development by addressing drought at scale.   • Ensure that DPI\u2019s transparent governance framework and decision-making result in a center of excellence with lasting impact and value added.<\/li>
  • Address demand and the diverse development needs of OTS members through stakeholder engagement and tailored support, especially via capacity building and knowledge sharing.<\/li>

        During the last intensive period of operation, based on preliminary stakeholder engagements and project consultations, DPI defined the following thematic focus areas that will guide its operations when it comes to project generation:<\/p>

        • Sustainable agriculture (soil conservation, regenerative agricultural practices, drought-resistant crops);<\/li>
        • Water resource management;<\/li>
        • Afforestation;<\/li>
        • Early warning and monitoring systems for drought; and<\/li>
